Meet the OzCode team – Dudi Keleti

Today we had the pleasure to speak to Dudi Keleti, a Software Developer on the OzCode team.

Briefly introduce yourself, what is your role in the OzCode team?

I’ve been working in OzCode for about a year – writing code. I’m married with 3 children. Before OzCode I “worked” in the army as a programmer in the Military Intelligence unit and then spent a couple of years in a big law enforcement project.

What are you working on now?

I am writing new cool features for OzCode!

At the moment I’m investigating OzCode using .NET Core, writing the new search feature and working on a new cool feature that I can’t talk about right now but I promise would be unveiled in a future version on OzCode.

What does it mean to be a good software developer?

I think a good software developer should be able to learn (a lot by himself) and find good yet simple solutions for complex problems. In our industry it’s easy to create amazing, complicated architectures that solve problems that are not there instead of a simpler, maintainable solution. It’s like killing a fly with a sledgehammer – it might work but you know there’s a better solution out there.

What is your favorite OzCode feature?

There is no one feature – I like them all. I did notice I use Reveal a lot, usually with Custom Expression. Another one I keep employing is the new LINQ debugging feature.

What do you do when you’re not writing code?

I like to fly drones then edit videos I’ve recorded using drones. I also like to travel and see new places.

Where can we find you online?

You can find me on my blog (http://mycodingplace.wordpress.com) as well as on StackOverflow and GitHub.
